Greenway is a coastal route that runs between Benic\u00e0ssim and Oropesa del Mar, through the old railway tracks. In summer it is very popular for its spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast.\r\n\r\n<strong>How to get to the Greenway?<\/strong>\r\nTo access the beginning of the greenway we can do it through the two towns. From Benic\u00e0ssim we must enter the town, and take Avenida Jaume I (it runs parallel to the coast between villas and buildings) and always towards Oropesa del Mara along the coast. At the end of Avenida Jaume I, we will reach a coastal road, where the railway crosses over it, and in that place we will see on the left a sign of the Hotel Palasiet. In the vicinity of the hotel there is a place to park among pine trees, very close to the beginning of the greenway, in the north of Benic\u00e0ssim.\r\n\r\n<strong>Other information of interest:<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe route between Benic\u00e0ssim and Oropesa del Mar is 5'5 km one way and 5'5 km return, that is a total of 11 km that can be done without haste in 1 h 30' and with stops. The first part crosses a small tunnel, at km 1, to pass at km 1.5 near the first watchtower, on a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea, where there is a rest area and viewpoint.\r\n\r\nThe route runs between trenches and open areas overlooking the sea, until it reaches at km 4 a long tunnel of about 600m. It is recommended to carry flashlights on the bike or headlamps. From there, the lane goes up Torre San Vicent street, to the old town, where it connects with a new section that has been built on the existing boulevard over the old railroad track, until it reaches Mohino avenue, where it connects with the current bike lane to the Ratlla road, where a new section allows to go down to the Curva and connect with the bike lane that runs along Ferrandis Salvador avenue, on the Heli\u00f3polis promenade.<\/p>\n<p>The route has <strong>four rest areas equipped with bike racks, litter garbage cans, information signs and furniture<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1st Area:<\/strong>Jard\u00ed Torre Sant Vicent, located in the recently remodeled park with sufficient equipment and furniture for relaxation and magnificent contemplation of the 16th century tower next to the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd Area: <\/strong>In front of the soccer fields of Els Frares Avenue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd Area: <\/strong>Next to the public park Illa La Ferrera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4th Area: <\/strong>La Ratlla road<\/p>\n<p><strong>All sections have a width of between 220 and 280 cm<\/strong>, making it the safest route,<strong> as vehicles and bicycles do not share the roadway in any section<\/strong>, which allows the route to have optimal parameters of use.
