And if&#8230; you can also live it in first person?<\/p>\n<p>The Tower of Sant Vicent was built on the seafront in Benic\u00e0ssim between 1597 and 1599 to <strong>strengthen the defense system of the so-called Olla de Benic\u00e0ssim, as it was an area of easy landing for the Barbary pirates and corsairs who plundered all the towns along the coast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This tower has managed to be preserved to this day. Guided tours are conducted throughout the year and dramatized visits and interpreted by real pirates so that children can travel back in time and learn about the history.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As a curiosity:<\/strong> It is one of the best preserved of the Valencian Community, maintaining the imposing appearance it had since its construction.
