Benicàssim will kick off the month of March with the first Women’s 5K Race
- The 5K race, which will run through the town centre and part of the seafront promenade, includes a charitable component supporting breast cancer research.
- In addition to the race, attendees will be able to enjoy a finish-line area with entertainment and activities, including music, Barre Fit and Yoga.
Benicàssim will host the 1st Charity Women’s 5K Against Breast Cancer next Sunday, 1 March, at 9:30 a.m. The sporting and charitable event will take place at Plaza de Les Corts Valencianes. This initiative will mark the beginning of Women’s Month in the town, with the rest of the programme to be announced shortly.
The race is open to women, men and children aged 14 and over, encouraging families to participate together in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. The route will run through the town centre to the beach, covering part of the seafront promenade and passing some of the town’s most iconic beaches.
Race bib collection will take place from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. In addition to the race itself, participants and attendees will be able to enjoy a lively finish area featuring entertainment, activities and refreshments upon arrival.
The event is supported by numerous sponsors who have joined this charitable initiative to help make it a festive day committed to such an important cause.
The organisers encourage all residents to take part in and support this event, which aims to become an annual fixture in Benicàssim’s sporting and charitable calendar.
The event is organised by Benicàssim Town Council together with Benicàssim Sky Runners and Run Addiction, with the aim of bringing together sport, solidarity and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
