Description: Nobody wanted to live in Benicàssim. After centuries of unsuccessful attempts, there was no local baron or baroness who really managed to attract families who wanted to stay and contribute to the progress of such a wretched town. ‘Unhealthy village’, “fertile ground for evildoers”, “most depopulated place in Castellón”.... Such were the adjectives that our city received from enlightened travellers and chroniclers. But there was a man who believed in the possibilities of this land and did not throw in the towel. With his own knowledge, some money and daring, he brought about many of the changes that would lead, two centuries later, to Benicàssim becoming an international fashionable destination. Follow Bayer and a brave (and outspoken) globetrotting woman in the days of the real founding of our town.
Recommendations: Animals are not allowed during the service (except guide or assistance dogs).
