For International Mountain Day....We climb to the top of Benicassim!

Location: Carmelite Monastery car park. Desert de les Palmes Natural Park.
Difficulty: Moderate. (7.5 km distance).
Recommended audience: Experienced hiking families.
Price: €3 (€1.5, reduced).
Description: Hundreds of thousands of people around the world pay tribute to the mountains and peaks of the planet every 11^th December. They are the great reservoirs of biodiversity and the almost indestructible lungs of our Earth, but year after year they suffer threats that make them more and more vulnerable to disturbances such as the Climate Emergency. We will celebrate such a distinguished event climbing up to Bartolo’s Natural Park highest peak.
Recommendations: warm clothing and hiking shoes, food and water. Do not attend if you have a serious injury or illness or if you are recovering from it.
