Synopsis: Despite being often out of work, Etienne is an endearing actor who runs a theatre workshop in a prison. There, he brings together a colourful troupe of prisoners to stage Samuel Beckett’s ‘Waiting for Godot’. When he is allowed to take the unlikely cast on tour outside the prison, Etienne discovers he has the chance to thrive. Each performance is a new success and, little by little, the relationship between the company and the director grows stronger and stronger. But soon comes the final performance in Paris. Will it really be goodbye?
