The Villa Ana Reading Point and the former Jorge Comín Biblioteca del Mar library alternate their services in this space from October to mid-June during the summer period.
READING POINT:
The Reading Point was inaugurated on 30 March 2007 in a classroom at Palmerar Primary School which was fitted out as a library. It had a single room prepared for 36 readers and divided into two areas: one for adults where novels and different subjects were located; and another with carpeting for children and young readers.
From the beginning, it joined the Collective Catalogue of the Valencian Public Reading Network as a branch of the Benicàssim Municipal Public Library.
Since October 2017, it has moved location to Espai Cultural de la Mar Villa Ana, a refurbished villa located at Paseo Pilar Coloma 35 set up that summer as a biblioteca del mar. The afternoon opening hours have been extended to include mornings and Saturdays in this new space.
