Description: At the end of the 19th century, the arrival of the railway brought about profound economic, social and landscape changes in Benicàssim. One of the consequences was the construction, by the sea, of a group of residences whose beauty and artistic significance earned Benicàssim the nickname of the “Biarritz of the Levant”.
On this walk, we will discover their history, their artistic and architectural richness, as well as the lively social life that took place among the villas and gardens. An enjoyable tour that will teach us how to appreciate these beautiful residences and understand how the villas became a symbol of the Belle Époque and an essential part of Benicàssim’s tourist and heritage identity.
