Difficulty: Moderate (some steep climbs, stony ground).
Recommended for: Experienced walkers.

Description: The area around Benicàssim, so popular with tourists and bustling with city dwellers, hides a treasure that goes unnoticed by most visitors: a wild and surprising biodiversity. Guided by a nature interpreter, on an easy walking route, we will uncover the natural secrets of Benicàssim’s most iconic protected area. The local flora and fauna, their uses and their most astonishing behaviours, will make it abundantly clear why we are surrounded by one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems.
Recommendations: hiking clothing and footwear, packed lunch, plenty of water. Do not attend if you have a serious injury or illness, or if you are recovering from one.
