Description: Before being a prosperous town like the one it is today, Benicàssim suffered from piracy, epidemics, famines, bad harvests and all kinds of inconveniences that prevented it from developing and kept it practically uninhabited. One of the defining moments that changed their fortunes was the introduction of a grape variety perfect for the harsh terrain beneath our feet. We will follow in the footsteps of muscatel from the 19th century through the urban planning of Benicàssim, and they will take us to the famous Carmelitano distillery, without a doubt the one that best knew how to take advantage of the benefits of such a sweet fruit. In addition, on this visit we will be accompanied by a sign language interpreter, in order to promote communication between deaf, hearing impaired and deafblind people and the other people. The need to have this service must be confirmed 48 hours before the visit.
Recommendations: Comfortable shoes and clothing and water.
