5€
*Sign language interpreter provided.
Sunday, 21st June (6.00 am – 8.30 am).
Location: Voramar Beach (in front of the Voramar Hotel). 1, Pilar Coloma Promenade.
Difficulty: Easy.
Distance: 2 km (linear).
Recommended for: Adults.
Price: €5 (€2.50 reduced).
Description: For millennia, the Sun has been the guide for the world’s great civilisations: it ruled everyone’s destiny, marking the start of harvests, sowing, and floods, instilling fear with its gradual disappearance in autumn or hope with its return in spring, illuminating the entrances to the caves where the first human beings lived. In today’s world, perhaps we would do well to integrate ourselves more fully into the cycles of nature, and to that end, we will explore, on a simple walk along the beach at dawn on the summer solstice, the Sun’s best-kept secrets. To complete our transformation into sun worshippers, we will become fully aware of the sun and its presence through a fantastic introductory yoga session.
Recommendations: beach shoes and a change of shoes (we suggest walking barefoot), breakfast, water, a yoga mat or towel. Do not attend if you have a serious injury or illness, or if you are recovering from one.
