Description: It is a little-known fact that one of the minds behind the metric system conducted research in the hills of the Desert de les Palmes to determine the exact length of a metre. Pierre Méchain died from a disease transmitted by a mosquito in the area and he was buried in Castellón. Yet his ghost, which can be seen on nights around All Saints’ Eve, continues to wander the hills of Benicàssim in an attempt to cross them and return to his native France.

Recommendations: sports shoes, hat and a drink. Animals are not allowed during the activity (except for guide and assistance dogs).
